The small peninsula of Privlaka, surrounded by the royal town of Nin to the east, is situated on the edge where the Dalmatian karst turns into a sandy landscape of northern Dalmatia.
Privlaka, with its seven kilometers of length and four kilometers of width, is a rather small, but very warm-hearted village. The first written record of Privlaka dates back to the 13th century. Numerous archeological sites dating back to the unimaginable 20 000 years B.C. reveal us its ancient history.
Nin is the oldest Croatian royal town and the cradle of the Croatian state. The smallest cathedral in the world and the coronation Church of St. Nicholas can be found right here in Nin. One of the world’s most beautiful beaches is also located in Nin! Nin has a rich cultural treasure, unspoiled nature, and remarkably beautiful surroundings. Explore Nin and have a remarkable stay!
Zadar, a city on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, is known for the Roman and Venetian ruins of its peninsular Old Town. There are several Venetian gates in the city walls. Surrounding the Roman-era Forum is 11th-century St. Mary’s Convent, with religious art dating to the 8th century. There’s also the grand, 12th-century St. Anastasia’s Cathedral and the round, 9th-century pre-Romanesque Church of St. Donatus.
Julijana is a spectacular host. Our apartment was wonderful! There were 7 of us (4 adults & 3 children, ages 4-10). We loved starting our vacation w/the fresh fish ready to grill & it was delicious! The pool is so lovely & the location is so easy for a variety of beaches to visit! We had a wonderful stay!
